Grand Park area featured business: Colorado Adventure Park

This week’s featured Grand Park area business is the Colorado Adventure Park, the largest, fastest, and safest adventure park in Grand County. The park offers lots of family-friendly fun and activities for all ages.

AdventureParkTubing

The Colorado Adventure Park’s most popular activity is snow tubing, available to anyone ages 3 and up. Guests are invited to ride up the hill on the Magic Carpet lift and enjoy an exciting ride back down. The park offers a variety of terrain for all types of adventure seekers, from slower and easier runs, to faster adrenaline-pumping terrain as well! Guests are invited to rent tubes by the hour, with both single and double tubes available. Single tubes are great for solo riders; double tubes are perfect for sharing rides together.

Also offered at the Colorado Adventure Park are “Snow Scoots.” These Snow Scoots are smaller, kid-friendly snowmobiles available for rent to children ages 6 and over, and under 130 pounds. The Adventure Park features a groomed snow scoot track that winds its way through the park’s meadows – the perfect place for kids to enjoy a fast, fun Snow Scoot ride!

SnowScoots

In a unique effort to remain as family-friendly as possible, the Colorado Adventure Park even offers sledding to children ages 3 and under. Even if your kids aren’t quite old enough for the tubing hill or Snow Scoots, they can still have a fun time sledding. The park offers complimentary sleds for children 3 and under, and a kid-friendly mini-hill on which your children can safely sled. Fun for the whole family, indeed!

The park’s facilities include a cozy warming hut complete with Wi-Fi and large, clean, handicap-accessible restrooms. A variety of concessions are available, including snacks, drinks, and cocoa and coffee for those colder days and nights. The park now also offers tasty sandwiches as well, and even beer and wine too!

The Colorado Adventure Park takes pride in being the safest adventure park in the county. Guests are debriefed on all the safety rules and regulations before receiving their tube rentals. A first-aid certified employee is on-site at all times for the safety of you and your family as well.

Tubers

The park is open from 10am to 10pm, from December until April (depending on snow). All major credit cards are accepted, and the park offers party hosting and group discounts as well. Reservations aren’t necessary, though they are recommended, especially for larger groups.

The park is conveniently located in Fraser, which is just 70 miles from Denver, and mere minutes away from the Grand Park community! With tubing, Snow Scooting, and sledding activities available as well as snowmobile tours on-site from Grand Adventures, the Colorado Adventure Park offers even more exciting mountain activities for Grand Park residents to enjoy! Come check it out!
